Born in Akron, Ohio, Eric's musical journey started at the age of 3. With a father who played bass for their church, he couldn't help but follow in his father's footsteps. The real musical training began being taken from jam session to jam session by his musician uncles in the basements around Ohio.
At the age of 12, Eric's father moved the family to the San Francisco Bay Area. Taking in what the Bay Area had to offer, Eric quickly gained a rep as " A bass player that can lock into a groove like a pit bull on a raw piece of meat!".
After high school, Eric attended Musician Institute, soon catching the ear of RATT guitarist Warren DeMartini, Prince and the NPG member Rosie Gaines, even the Purple One himself. Today Eric remains an in demand bass player.
